Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Intensive Outpatient Treatment, or IOT, is a focused, flexible approach to care that offers support for individuals managing mental health or substance use challenges. It provides structured therapy several times a week, so participants can continue with school, work, or family life while receiving consistent therapeutic support.
IOT helps individuals build coping skills, strengthen their support systems, and make meaningful progress toward personal wellness goals, all in a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment.
It's Structured, But Flexible
IOT includes scheduled 3-hour group sessions and individual therapy each week, but you don't have to put your life on hold. Many clients continue going to school, working, or caring for their family while also participating in IOT.
Individual Therapy
Participation in IOT does not require you to already be a client of Grasshopper Group. However, it is strongly recommended that you also have an individual therapist during your time in the program. If you don't already have one, our team can help connect you with a licensed therapist within Grasshopper Group.
Participation is Key
Recovery takes effort. IOT works best when you're actively engaged - showing up, being open, and leaning into the healing process.
Substance Use & Mental Health
IOT is designed for individuals managing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, or both. Whether challenges are related to anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use, IOT offers integrated support that meets you where you are.
You'll Have a Team
You'll work with licensed professionals who understand what you're going through. Your care team will help you build skills, set goals, and stay accountable.
You're Not Alone
Group sessions give you the chance to connect with others facing similar challenges. Many people find comfort and strength in knowing they're not the only one working through it.
